Pink Señorita

Like a margarita with a softer, cuter side, the Señorita ditches limes for pink lemonade and lemon juice. It’s the drink you’ll want for every summer day at the cottage!
Ingredients
- Lemon wedge, for rimming glasses
- Coarse salt, for rimming glasses
- 2 c. ice
- 2 1/4 c. Pink lemonade
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 c. triple sec
- 1 c. tequila
- 4 Lemon Slices, for garnish
Directions
- Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of four glasses, then dip rims into salt.
- To each glass, add ice, pink lemonade, lemon juice, triple sec, and tequila. Stir to combine. (if you prefer a lot of ice, stir together mixture first, then pour over ice.)
- Garnish each glass with a lemon slice.
Salted and Spiced Watermelon Margarita

This clever recipe combines everything magical about margaritas (tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and a salt rim) with a kick of heat from fresh jalapeños and a refreshing sweetness from the watermelon juice. Salt accentuates watermelon’s sweet taste and the tangy margarita base, too.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. finely grated lime zest
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1/8 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 lime wedge
- 6 oz. store-bought or homemade watermelon juice
- 3 oz. tequila
- 2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 2 oz. triple sec
- Ice
- 6 thinly sliced jalapeño rounds, divided
- Watermelon wedges and lime rounds, for serving
Directions
- On a shallow plate, combine granulated sugar, lime zest, and 1 tablespoon salt. Rub rims of 2 glasses with lime wedge, then dip rims into sugar mixture to coat, pressing with your fingers to adhere.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, and triple sec. Fill shaker with ice, then add 4 jalapeño rounds and remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt. Vigorously shake until outside of shaker is frosty, about 20 seconds.
- Strain into prepared glasses. Garnish with watermelon wedges, lime rounds, and remaining jalapeño rounds.
Bulldog Margarita

A classic bulldog margarita, or a Mexican coronita, is a simple drink by flipping a beer into a frozen margarita. Corona beer is traditional, but try it with your favourite Mexican beer!
Ingredients
- 4 c. ice
- 2/3 c. lime juice
- 1 c. tequila
- 1/4 c. Cointreau or other orange liqueur
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- Coarse salt, for rim
- 4 Coronitas (7 oz. each)
- Skewers topped with sliced citrus, for garnish
Directions
- Combine ice, lime juice, tequila, Cointreau and sugar in a blender, pulsing to combine.
- Place salt on a shallow plate. Dip the rim of each glass in lime juice or water, then in the salt.
- Fill each glass with margarita mixture. Pop the caps off of the Coronita bottles, then flip each one upside-down into the margarita glass. (A little beer will empty into the cup, but once the neck of the bottle has sunk into the frozen margarita, it will stop pouring out.)
- Garnish each with a fruit skewer and serve.
